It is very important to make sure whoever you hire to install spray foam are a licensed and experienced spray foam contractor.
You will want to make sure that the products they use are of good quality and have been tested and certified—not all spray foam products are the same.
Be aware of the R-values, product characteristics, and material make-up.
Spray foam products have come a long way since the old days, there is no need to worry about Formaldehyde.
It is also a good idea to ask the estimator/sales person about any fire coatings that may be needed, if this is not included and is needed the inspector will likely not pass you—it could cost you more money than you planned.
